Co-creation Workshops: Research on Donor Funding to Networks

Collective Mind recently released new research on donor funding to networks. The research resulted in 18 in-depth case studies from donors and networks plus a “how-to” guide to improve funding and fundraising for networks.

This research aims to fill major gaps in understanding and practice about how best to support networks – and we want to leverage the findings to promote further action based on the priorities of network practitioners. We’re offering multiple times that you can join a workshop to hear updates and offer your insights. In the workshop, you will:

  1. hear a summary of the research results

  2. collaboratively define what the field of network practice needs in this area, (e.g. advocacy, training, additional research, etc.)

  3. co-create ideas on how those needs could be fulfilled and who could take them on.

Needs and Leads

Collective Mind’s “Needs and Leads” series is an opportunity for network leaders and managers to get the support they need from their peers. The Needs and Leads sessions are confidential, supportive, 30-minute facilitated sessions. Each person with a Need, i.e. any network challenge you’re struggling with, will be given time to briefly discuss it, followed by time for other participants in the space to provide Leads, i.e. contacts, resources, information, tips, or other support. These sessions are also an opportunity to build your community of networks of peers. Participants will be able to connect in the chat, offline, or after the session to follow up on Leads.
