Collective Mind Compass: A new tool for collaboration

Co-create with us or follow the process!

We’re developing our Compass via an extensive co-creation process – and we’d love for you to join us!

There are multiple ways to participate in the co-creation…

  • Become a Collaboration Fellow

  • Join a Community Conversation

  • Engage with us on LinkedIn

  • Follow the development via our newsletter

Become a Collaboration Fellow

We’re recruiting Collective Mind Collaboration Fellows to join our co-creation effort. Collaboration Fellows are experienced practitioners from anywhere in the world who are working in or alongside networks, coalitions, alliances, partnerships, or other collaborative organizations.

The fellowship is a year-long program in two phases:

1.     Co-Creation (September 2026 - February 2027)

During the first phase, Fellows contribute to the knowledge base of our Compass by capturing and sharing their experiences – especially about strategy, resource mobilization, and monitoring, evaluation, and learning – using the templates and tools we provide (e.g., case studies, interviews, guided workflows, etc.).

To be eligible for the second phase, fellows must make at least two contributions during the first Co-Creation phase.

2.     Community Building (March - August 2027)

During the second phase, Fellows gain free access to the Compass, engaging with each other, with our experts, and with other users.

Over the course of the fellowship, fellows will also have opportunities to weigh in on development decisions in meaningful ways, sharing their feedback and ideas on the tool’s design, rollout, and ongoing improvements.

Collaboration Fellows receive multiple benefits:

  • Access: 6 months of free access to the Compass from its launch in February, plus opportunities to extend your access via referrals to the tool.

  • Learning and support: Access to all resources available on the platform, including the AI coaches, discussions, events, and more.

  • Visibility: Named as a contributor to the tool.

  • Recognition: Contributions published, shared, and promoted via Collective Mind’s channels (website, newsletter, LinkedIn).

  • Promotion: Opportunities during discussions and events on the platform to share relevant experience directly as a highlighted expert.

  • Connections: Connections to diverse global practitioners, including other fellows and Collective Mind’s Co-Creators.

  • Community: Relationship-building via a dedicated shared space for fellows on the platform and fellows-only calls and events.

Beyond immediate benefits during the fellowship period, Collaboration Fellows are considered fellows for life, with ongoing opportunities and connection to Collective Mind.

Apply to join us!

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. The deadline to participate is November 30th.

Join a Community Conversation

We’re organizing a series of open Community Conversations on each of our three core topics – strategy, resource mobilization, and monitoring, evaluation, and learning.

These focus group style discussions are open to anyone. Come prepared to share and learn!

We’ll hold three rounds of Community Conversations between September and November to accommodate time zones and availability. Sign up for the session(s) that work best for you.

Engage with us on LinkedIn

We’re using LinkedIn as another platform to engage with diverse audiences as part of our co-creation.

We’ll be posting multiple times a week, including;

  • A “Question of the Week” for responses that feed into the co-creation process.

  • “Emerging Insights” for sharing insights, excerpts, or key ideas from the inputs and conversations we’re having.

  • “Community Spotlights” for highlighting our Co-Creators and Collaboration Fellows and recognizing their contributions.

  • Other updates, milestones, and opportunities about the co-creation process.

Follow us on LinkedIn to learn insights from our co-creation process and share your own.

Follow the development via our newsletter

We’ll use our newsletter to compile and highlight insights and contributions to the co-creation.

You can get updates and insights directly in your inbox by signing up for our newsletter to follow along.
