Convene Your Network

Collective Mind’s unique expertise in networks and collective impact offers a strategic angle to our support of network gatherings. We are not conference logisticians — we are network design and management experts. As such, we work with network teams to design and facilitate custom approaches as a means of effective network engagement.

Networks convene their members around a variety of activities — annual general meetings, board meetings, advisory and expert stakeholder meetings, member training conferences, virtual conferences, focus groups, etc. As network engagement and facilitation experts, Collective Mind’s team of associates and advisors are able to support and/or advise networks in all facets of convenings, both in-person and virtual. This may range from design, planning, and hands-on facilitation support, to administrative and behind-the-scenes assistance, to outcomes reporting and evaluation.

Types of support we provide include but is not limited to:

  • Whole convening or session design

  • Meeting or session facilitation (lead or support)

  • Advising on and supporting network convenings as part of a broader network advisory project

  • Convening outcome report and/or evaluation

  • Decision-making summary or outcome reporting

  • Administrative, planning, and logistical support for meetings or convenings

Whether as an individual consultant or small team, our advisors and associates can meet your network’s diverse needs. In supporting roles, we work under the network’s team lead to feed into and carry out various projects related to your convening. When working in a more strategic role, our advisors and associates can advise and collaborate on meeting design and planning, serve as a lead facilitator, and/or produce strategic outcome reports. We can also blend convening support into a broader advisory project, in which we work with staff and leadership to redesign, assess, or build out network projects.
